Dear Family,

It’s 6:30 a.m. and I can hardly keep my eyes open.
Aside from all the travel, I have to admit that I have a terrible, deep, dark secret when it comes to books. Shh….please, don’t tell anyone.

When it’s a good book, and I am more than halfway through it at the end of the day, I a compelled to finish reading the book before I go to sleep. It’s an uncontrollable reaction to really good writing. Have you ever read anything my Orson Scott Card? His stories have fully developed characters that you come to care about. They are well researched and follow totally logically, once you accept the science fiction premise of the story. This book was Pastwatch: The Redemption of Christopher Columbus. VERY RELEVANT for today’s world!
Actually, I need to go back and read his whole body of work. Some of his books, I read more than 20+ years ago – it’s time to re-read them.

Anyway, once again, operating on about 2-3 hours of sleep, I bring you today’s issue of Ask TaxMama.

In today’s IRS News we learnd that 279,000 people seeking Stimulus Refunds and regular refunds filed tax returns with incorrect addresses. They haven’t received over $266 million – because the checks IRS sent out came back undeliverable.
